Okay back to the episode. I love Yohane was told that Anna kicked Hao in the crotch but he wasn't told how his mom slapped the heck out of him in front of everyone.
The ad for the beans always sends me. Takei is an expert at pulling off comedy during serious moments and I LOVE it.
And here comes the Yahacopter~ I've already talked about this on twt but for the sake of archiving I'll say it again here... I wasn't all that happy with how they handled the whole thing... First the sparkles straight up killed me, I wasn't expecting those; they don't bother me as much but I'm not sure if I like them either. And I know the whole scene is ridiculous but the sail should have spin!!! That was the whole point of the aerial screw... ALSO THEY REMOVED THE TRIANGLE EYES my favorite part... They're probably gonna remove that one part in hell with it too, I'm so sad... But for every thing they take away they give us a new one, like Daikyo showing up later that Takei forgot in the manga. (Yosuke's voice was super good too, he has a slightly different tone from last time but still whimsical and ♪. Also love they kept the vest that he only uses this one time because he has to dress nicely to show up in front of everyone (even tho everyone forgot about that immediately).
I feel so bad for Alumi, she's truly surrounded by idiots and Hana keeps picking fights with her. He deserves all the punches and kicks until his brain is put into place.
Ryuuji's fanboy screams crack me up... He's so funny.
Also Yohane's "Nani, Hana-kun?" is TOO CUTE!!!! I loved this part aaaaa gosh i'm feeling so nostalgic ;_; reading flowers for the first time... Falling in love...
I LOVE SUMIRE UESAKA I WILL SAY IT EVERY EPISODE but she's the perfect Alumi i never knew I needed.
Also I'll keep saying how much I love how they draw Tamao... sometimes Takei's proportions are too exaggerated to be enjoyed properly so it's nice to see her drawn like this AND THEN THERE'S RYUUJI'S SCREAMING I SWEAR TO GODJHDFGFG i'm DEAD the voice actor is a genius.
And then we got Hanagumi completely violating Yohane's integrity THEY EVEN TOOK OFF HIS PANTS SFJSDHFG they keep adding this fanservice but I don't mind... Speaking of fanservice, they didn't let Kanna grope Luca and for that I'm grateful. Before the episode aired there was a jp fan that was wishing they'd remove that and I was amused that they actually did? I wasn't expecting that but good, there's enough fanservice as it is in this episode with Yohane and Alumi's panties. This is more fanservice than the entirety of SK sjdfhg
And now THE MUNTZERS!! REDSEB'S VOICE IS SO SEXY (ONO KENSHO FTW) AND I LOVE SEYRARM'S SHE'S SO LADYLIKE i want to see her in TSS so bad aaaaaa.
For some reason there's a May 2014 calender in the wall behind Redseb even though the story was supposedly happening in April...? I mean what does time mean in Takei's manga but still...
And just like that they added a whole scene of Alumi taking off her skirt but I love it gosh I love Alumi HER TRACKSUIT IS DARK RED!!!! I'm glad I've been coloring it correctly the whole time (assuming the anime colors are correct because I still don't forget about Yosuke's shoes).
Speaking of things I love, I was very touched with the music during Hana's introspection. This scene hit harder in the anime than in the manga. Here you can feel the weigth of Hana's burdens clearly when he wonders about Alumi and his own self. Baby...
Also, TSS spoiler territory again but as I pointed out before and saw some jp fans talking, his talk about Amidamaru and his father and compassion/understanding the enemy means a lot more now we know what he's up to trying to approach Kamogawa. I'm already bawling thinking how both have the goal of understanding everything (even though that seems to go against YVS' wishes in Yosuke's case?) or even if it's just Hana wanting to understand Yosuke... these feels will hit me like a bullet train in the future and I'm so excited.
Back to the episode again because I kee derrailing... GAKKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIS VOICE IS SO GOOD he sounds fun and chirpy and he has an accent I love my boyo he's so shonen.
AND SHOOT THE EPISODE IS OVER next one is 101% shonen fight goodness and IKEONI!!!!
