I lost it when Hana screamed after seeing Shamash on top of the other guys, it was a great way to show it. And also that Hana!! Was super cute... and poop hair.
His cute rolling dodge was also cute. AND THE FORCE MY SHI- LINE WAS SO FSKJDHF why is he like this, I can't understand how people didn't like Hana... he's just a silly boy.
Gakko calling Hana by his name warmed my heart... God my love for Team Hao is off the charts.
Men stuck on the ground with his lance was kida awkward but okay... He has an interesting voice inflection there.
And now still image festival and we see Namaha's hitodama! Super cute detail, because the first time we actually see her is in TSS volume 7 LMAO.....
AND THEN WEEEEEEE FANSERVICE ATTACK SPONSORED BY YOHANE. Did it happen in the manga? no. Was it kinda forced? yes. Do I care? HELL NO!!!!!! Yohane would absolutely pin down Hana if he could (and he did). And then he delivers one hella badass moment we don't get to see often from him anymore. I still find it funny how all this carnage is just so Men can see the infamous Daidara...
A nice detail was Hana taking demons straight out of his heart... It breaks my heart ;-;
And Daidara comes out... and Men is moved and Paku Romi does one of the best performances of her life AND THEN OUT OF FREAKING NOWHERE WE GET RED CRIMSON FLASHBACK WITH BLACK MAIDEN SPEAKING AND JEANNE LIKE WHAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed and smashed the desk so hard i just know i don't look human when that happens. BUT gooooosh Black Maiden looks so pretty and MARINA INOUE VOICES HER WHAT THE HELL if this is a dream i don't want to wake up. Having a seiyuu her caliber for a character that shows up for one episode is a bold move but I can't want to have RC, Marcos and TSS animated now... Goooood aaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU BLACK MAIDEN MY DEAREST. And then Hana recovering a memory and the whole demon disitegrating... This scene is probably one of my favorite in all the anime.
And now, GOD. And kitties. I love how Hao's voice sounds subtly different from the Hao we used to know. He sounds more cheerful and whimsical, I really like it. They nailed the moment he grabs Hana and tells him he looks like his mother... it was beautifully done.
Hao with hi red yukata might be my favorite of all Haos we've gotten in the manga.
Hana with the flies killed me like in the manga it's already unserious but in the anime with the sound and all it's just plain murder.
When Hao tells Hana there's a condition he must fulfill before the FoM and then asks him if he can beat Yoh... So he means surpassing his dad's spirit? And just generally learning from his dad and becoming better than him and the best version of himself. This is so symbolic, but also no wonder why I love Hana's development so much.
Moving on, I appreciate Hikasa's performance with Yoh here, it truly hits different having Hana next to him.
Not much more to say other than there are many cutely drawn Hanas and Yohs here... And then the episode ends with the darn plane and we're going to hell next week (aka tomorrow hehaha).
