It took me forever to recover from this episode but let's get started.
We start by meeting Thalim again after so long and Hana and Sakurai going to Patch Cafe and chatting for a bit.
Then back to Funbari where we have a glorious sight of Hana in the freezer and then Alumi showing off her patchphone (that she never uses again). She leaves now but I wonder if at this point she's getting the instructions to go to Nagano... Also incredibly Ryu doesn't know about the Patch Village incident?? How come... Anyway, plot holes aside, she tells everyone to get to know each other in the meanwhile [GROUP DEVELOPMENT OMITTED]
And now Men asking for the Iron Maiden (that I still wonder why is it in Funbari and Ren didn't brought it to China).
And now EMETH ATTACK! AND THE MUNTZERS AND BLACK MAIDEN AND EVERYTHING HAPPENS SO MUCH WE GET EYECATCH WITH BLACK MAIDEN AND JEANNE that was savage... Ah, I love Black Maiden with my life, she's my baby and I'm happy to see her finally. Her short sleeves were retconned into oblivion and now she wears the long sleeves from TSS. Also no black nails and her eyes are lilac instead of the blue that Takei colored in those exhibition illustrations... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
They added a weird joke with Ryu but I understand they did it for the contrast... I'm a new man now but I remember back in the day when BM was introduced I was like 'ehhh... this girl so ugly and random' and I thought nothing of her for the longest time (Takei did her zero favors and Flowers was kicked to death so no time for anything else). It was a super strong impression knowing that she also randomly killed Jeanne... I'm glad now it's all different and she's my baby girl.
HER VOICE IS SO PERFEEEEECT I LOVE YOU MARINA INOUEEEEEE and there goes Men with his attack and wanting to kill her.

And Tamao arrives just in time and Luca's like wtf... But my question is since when Tamao knows Redseb and Seyrarm are from team YVS??? Anyway... tea time for them.
And back to hell, Thalim explanations, Sakurai having a coffee moment and Hana anxious about getting out of there... Sakurai remembering Chiharu like the guy didn't have spend a night with her jsdfh I cry whenever I remember he didn't get to meet his children.
AND NOW WE MEET ANDERSON aaaa can't wait to see him in TSS... and also there's a cockroach behind you captain...
And now one of the best moments that they made even better in the anime. Yabisu telling Yosuke that he's a cheater... and then my moment of heavenly ascension as they add YAHABE FLASHBACK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I SCREAMED SO HARD I THINK I LOST CONSCIOUSNESS WHILE I WAS WATCHING BECAUSE I COULD BARELY REMEMBER ANYTHING AFTER IT BUT HOLY CRICKETS THEY ADDED YAHABE AND NOT JUST THAT BUT THEY ADDED A WHOLE SCENE WE DON'T GET TO SEE IN THE MANGA OF YOSUKE LOSING THE TOURNAMENT AND LOOKING LIKE A FOOL IN FRONT OF KAGOME AND HIS BABY VOICE IT'S SO SOFT.... he was just 11 leave him alone ;_;
Looking at him now it doesn't even look like the same Yosuke but he's still him...
His "Hn?" and the rest of his dialogue when Anderson shows up... end me. He's so IshiAki coded like wth Matsuoka calm the heck down??????? YOU ARE MAKING HIM SOUND LIKE I IMAGINED HIM TO SOUND FOR THE PAST TEN+ YEARS i want to perish and apparently we're getting expanded Patch village incident flashback next episode so i'll be a corpse until then (but I don't know if i'll be able to watch it... I'll find out shortly).
